1. Zhineng Qigong has been certified as China’s pre-eminent energy-healing approach after a nineteen-year government survey.  Zhineng Qigong – the cultivation of intelligent life energy – has demonstrated a stated 95% healing effectiveness rate on over 450 serious diagnoses (Cancer, Diabetes, Depression, Heart Disease and more) on over 200,000 patients.

The Wisdom Healing Qigong style (also known as Chi-Lel Qigong) is characterized by group practice, with practitioners “organizing the Chi Field,” a technique to enhance healing.  2. Food As Medicine

The nutritional program at Kokolulu Farm teaches Food as Medicine concepts for prevention to disease as well as a solution to help fight cancer and disease in general. Nutrition is integral to disease prevention but crucial throughout any healing journey.

Kokolulu Farm offers a venue where guests can learn to make better food choices for improved health and well-being. While there is plenty of information available, there is also a lot of misinformation. The on-site RN, nutrition specialist assists individuals with their nutritional needs and questions.

The Kokolulu Food As Medicine program teaches easy-to-understand-and-follow nutritional guidelines. Guests learn about the foods that research show to be most beneficial to healing, understand which foods are most harmful to healing, experience healthy food preparation and find out ways to shop for live, healthy foods.  You can also find out how to grow at least a few of your favorites without using harmful chemicals!

3. Exercise

Want to feel better, have more energy and perhaps even live longer?   The health benefits of regular exercise and physical activity are hard to ignore.  Regular exercise or physical activity helps many of the body’s systems function better, keeps heart disease, diabetes, and a host of other diseases at bay, and is a key ingredient for losing weight.

The results of qigong exercises are well established. Studies suggest that practicing qigong exercises may favorably affect many functions of the body, permit reduction of the dosage of drugs required for health maintenance, and provide greater health benefits.

4. Stress Reduction

 Positive thinking helps with stress management and can improve your health.  Research has repeatedly shown that chronic stress impairs the healing process, and diminishes immune system activity.  There is a connection between what you think and how your body responds to those thoughts. Literally, you are what you think.

Zhineng Qigong uses both body and mind to enhance health and heal illness. A series of movements and postures are carried out in a meditative state of deep relaxation. Each series is part of a systematic method of practice that an individual can choose to follow to heal through illness or to remain in optimal health.

5. Guided Imagery

Learn to use the power of your own healing mind to reduce your stress & anxiety, relieve pain, change lifestyle habits, and live with more wellness.  Imagery is a natural, efficient way of storing and processing information, and one that has powerful effects on both emotional states and physiology.

Visualization and guided imagery offer tools to direct one’s concentration on images held in the mind’s eye.  This can create physiologic changes in the body, including therapeutic goals.

In Zhineng Qigong, directing the internal activities of the mind-consciousness is as important as performing the actual physical movements. Students learn to regulate their internal Qi flow to improve their health and well being.
