Margaret (Peggy) Brevoort: Retired from the Natural Products Industry in 2000 after selling her herbal extract company, East Earth Herb Inc.  Currently is President of the Board of Trustees of the American Botanical Council and serves on the Bastyr University Board of Regents.  Peggy is a Certified Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitatorand Feng Shui consultant.  As a former lecturer and teacher, she now enjoys helping people learn skills to enhance their personal health and well being.She facilitates labyrinth walks and conducts Pedicure Pampering classes to clients of Kokolulu cancer retreats.

Patricia D. Culliton: M.A., L. Ac., Consultant. Pat provides consultation and occasional workshops on Complementary and Alternative Medicine. She is Director of the Alternative Medicine Division at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, and an instructor in the Graduate School at the University of Minnesota. She has a Master of Arts degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist.Since 1981, she has been conducting acupuncture research and developing complementary and alternative medicine services. Pat presently supervises a staff of Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, massage therapists, and clinical chiropractors. Pat is a founding board member of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association and the Society for Acupuncture Research.

Joseph E. Pizzorno Jr., ND: Joe is one of the world’s leading authorities on science-based natural/integrative medicine. He was appointed by President Clinton in December 2000 to the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy and by President Bush’s administration in 2002 to the Medicare Coverage Advisory Committee. A naturopathic physician, educator, researcher and expert spokesman, Pizzorno is founding president of Bastyr University. Under his leadership, Bastyr became the first fully accredited, multidisciplinary university of natural medicine and the first NIH-funded center for alternative medicine research. From 1996 to 2002, he served on the Seattle/King County Board of Health and, in 1996, was a founding board member of the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia.

Leanna Standish, PhD, ND, MS, L. Ac.: Professor, School of Naturopathic Medicine, Affiliate Research Professor, School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, Clinical Research Professor, School of Public Health, Health Services Division. Neuroscientist and a naturopathic physician who, board certified in naturopathic oncology. Research focus past 15 years has been focused on HIV/AIDS, cancer, hepatitis C, and functional brain imaging cancer. Medical director of the Bastyr University Integrated Oncology Research Clinic. Directed research at Bastyr University to identify and describe the treatments used for breast cancer by naturopathic physicians in North America.

Master Zhang, Yu Lei: Consultant, Qigong Master.,Master Zhang, Yu Lei is a former college professor of agriculture and a Qigong Master who lives in China. He developed Zhong Guo Hui Gong (Chinese Wisdom Qigong) in the late 1970s. With the approval of the Chinese government, Master Zhang’s form of “super qigong” has effectively treated chronic illnesses, addictions and disorders in millions of practitioners. Kokolulu is home to the first Zhong Guo Hui Gong Therapy Treatment Center authorized and established outside of China. Master Zhang has published several books on qigong, addictions, diseases, chronic illnesses like cancer, and mental disorders including “Non-Medical Therapy of Psychiatrics” and “Asking the Brain for Health.” His contributions have been invaluable and give cause for great hope for Americans living with chronic illness like cancer, addiction, and mental health issues.
