Help Us Build The Chartres Labyrinth at Kokolulu

Labyrinth – Ancient path for modern footsteps
The labyrinth, defined as a single circuitous path that leads to a center (rather than a Maze in which one can become lost) has served humankind for thousands of years.
Labyrinths can be found and have been used in religious, secular, private and public settings. Within the last 30 years there has been a resurgence of interest in this physical tool for thoughtful and joyous contemplation.
Kokolulu Farm and Cancer Retreat Center has been utilizing (for over 14 years) a full 11 circuit (11 rings) Chartres style labyrinth (a replica of the one found at Chartres Cathedral in France) as part of their healing program
We now wish to turn our hand drawn labyrinth into a more permanent form. We hope you will contribute to this effort. Our goal: $12,690 to create a permanent labyrinth set auspiciously within the landscape of our Retreat Center in Hawi, Hawaii. This labyrinth will be open to the community.
