In my journey since cancer I have learned one thing that I am
absolutely certain of, complete healing can only take place when you
forgive yourself and all others. This I have done and continue to
practice daily in the mind/body imagery that I learned at KoKoLuLu with

Life after a serious
diagnosis
such as cancer will never again be the
same. This is a virtual guarantee. Modern health care has few resources
to lend to training or care giving after primary or tertiary
treatment. Patients are sent home after medical treatment to care
for themselves and simply don't know what to do
next. Many are basically healthy and want information on
expanded wellness, others need to recover and detoxify from treatment,

Support
At
Kokolulu, we strongly recommend that a spouse, partner, or close family
member accompany clients who enter our program. We find this to be
important because a support person can be invaluable in assisting the
client to adopt new practices and to modify old patterns. The
support person can often determine the degree to which clients
incorporate and utilize new life tools.
Also, the support person frequently needs as much assistance and
guidance in coping with feelings as the client does, in order to deal
with times of confusion, feelings of inadequacies and lack of
compassion and understanding that arise when watching a loved one go
through a life-threatening disease. With help, the whole
experience can help leave one feeling enriched and human in ways not
usually experienced in everyday life.
